Oasis Academy Brislington is a huge modern building with a central ‘street’ a third of a mile long – more like a shopping mall than a school. We worked with the leaders to develop a cohesive and inspiring environment that reflects the school and trust’s ethos.
This included:
- hanging colourful themed vertical flags in each section of the street with simple messages about expectations
- creating boards for each ‘pod’ with inspirational quotes from famous people based on trust values
- designing and producing giant boards with faded-out photos (future and GDPR proof!) for entrance, highlighting school’s vision and values
- creating colour-themed boards for subject faculty areas
- removing scruffy noticeboards (for consistency and to save staff time)
Overall, this resulted in a consistent and high quality visual identity, portraying the academy as a professional place to work and to learn.
